Growing up in Mobridge, South Dakota with two older brothers, a sister, and parents who were always working on old vehicles and houses gave me a hands-on, resourceful upbringing. It was clear early on that I was going to end up in the trades - building, fixing, and figuring things out for myself.
While most classmates were focused on sports, I spent high school working at the local service station, Grand Central. For three years I handled everything from pumping gas and fixing tires to running the register and car wash on my own.
That’s where I really learned responsibility, customer service, and what it takes to keep a business running. It also sparked my interest in automotive repair and where window tinting first started as a side hustle.
After years of working in shops, learning from mentors, and driving weekends back to Mobridge for extra jobs, I knew it was time to build something of my own.
In 2020, Dents 2 Darkness came to life and I transitioned into full-time self-employment. The shop itself has housed automotive businesses since 1952, and carrying on that history is something I’m proud of.

Today, Dents 2 Darkness has grown to include automotive tint, residential and commercial film installation, and paintless dent repair.
While the business has grown, my approach hasn’t changed: provide a finished product I’m proud to have my name on, and earn the kind of trust that turns customers into repeat clients, referrals, and people who feel comfortable sending their friends and family my way.
