Tint laws vary by state and by window location. We stay up to date on both South Dakota and North Dakota regulations and will ensure your vehicle remains compliant. South Dakota Front side windows: Must allow more than 35% of light in Back side & rear windows: Must allow more than 20% of light in Windshield: Non-reflective tint allowed only above the AS-1 line (top strip)  North Dakota Front side windows: Must allow more than 50% of light in Back side & rear windows: Any darkness allowed (with side mirrors) Windshield: Must allow more than 70% of light in; a sun strip is allowed at the top Not sure what’s best for your vehicle or driving needs? Yes. We have shop samples to help you decide which Visible Light Transmission (VLT) is right for you and your vehicle.

Most standard vehicle tint jobs take 2–4 hours, depending on the vehicle size and coverage. Larger trucks, SUVs, or equipment may take longer. We’ll give you a time estimate when you schedule.

You should wait 3–5 days before rolling down your windows. This allows the film to fully cure and bond to the glass.

Most passenger vehicles use tempered glass, which breaks into small pieces during an impact.
